French Tutoring in Norfolk
A local French tutoring service for children and adults.
I believe that speaking other languages is a great asset which opens many doors, and I am delighted to share my expertise and enthusiasm with others through personal tutoring sessions.
I completed a first class Honours Degree in French at the University of London including a year working as a language teaching assistante in Provence and have been a professional translator from French into English for the past 19 years.
For children
I offer help with homework and revision for school-age children up to GCSE.
Does your child need extra support with their French? In a one-to-one environment, pupils can focus on any problem areas and gain greater confidence, especially when it comes to speaking, which can be daunting in a classroom situation. Any gaps in grammar and vocabulary can be addressed and pupils can gain extra practice with reading and writing.
For younger children, I can offer an introduction to the language suited to the pupil's age.

Learn at your own pace. I tailor sessions to each student's individual needs, enabling you to achieve your goals.
Sessions are in-person and can take place after school or during the day at a mutually convenient time.
I hold a current DBS check.

For adults
I offer tuition for beginners, refresher classes and conversation sessions.
Whether you want to prepare for a visit abroad, brush up your reading and writing skills, work on grammar or vocabulary or are just looking for an opportunity to talk French and learn as you go along, I can provide sessions in line with your interests.
